Valve Types Overview
Gate Valve
- Standard: For general vacuum such as industrial coating. Size ISO63–320 mm. Most economical.
- Semi: For ultra-clean environments such as semiconductor. Size KF25–320 mm.
- Harsh: Robust with no moving components, for corrosive or extreme temperature. Lockout-tagout optional.
- Aluminum: Better vacuum than stainless steel; transparent to X-ray.
- Mini: Quick action, economical, small footprint; for sample transfer. Size KF25–KF50.

Poppet Valve
Available in angle, inline, Z-style; CF, KF, ISO flanges; sizes 16–630 mm. Bellows-sealed.
- Standard: General vacuum; sizes 16–630 mm.
- Low Particle: Bellows encapsulated from process gases; for upstream (e.g., load-lock).
- Gemini: Higher closing force when chamber also sees high pressure.
- Aluminum Flapper: Aluminum body; integrated position indicator & solenoid; 6 M cycle life.
- Toggle: Quick flip with detents; locking optional.
- All-Metal: For UHV up to 1×10−10 torr or extreme temperature.

Ball Valve
- Standard: Casting body, PTFE sealed. Vacuum to 1×10−6 torr; pressure to 200 psi. High-temperature options available.
- High Temp Machined: Machined body, TFM sealed. Vacuum to 1×10−9 torr; for high pressure/temperature, cryogenics, corrosives.
- Custom: Made to print.
Butterfly Valve
- Standard: Flow and pressure control. Vacuum to 1×10−8 torr. Self-wiping disk.
- Chevron Vane: Low profile, high conductance, optimum pressure control. Size 4″–35″.
- Throttling: Throttling pressure control; plug-in compatible to VAT.
